body prints

My bachelor's thesis shows various imprints of my own body on large-format canvases. My body acted as a brush that translated the movements made on the canvas into two-dimensional forms. A special ink mixture made the gestures visible and preserved them at the same time. These traces can be read as testimony to an exploratory probing of one's own body in connection with the paint material. The resulting sculptural black and white worlds imply their own process of creation and refer to the power and dynamism of the human body.
